School supplies are dependent on which classes you are taking. Your instructors can answer any questions you might have.

Basic supplies such as pen, pencil, and paper will generally be enough for the first day of school.

Students taking mathematics courses:

The WHS Mathematics Department offers the following information regarding calculators:

Although smart phones and other devices do have advanced calculator apps, students cannot use their cell phones/computer/iPAD/chromebook during tests and quizzes.

Because of this, in order to be successful in the course, a regular scientific calculator is necessary for Algebra 1 and Geometry.

Once students get to courses Algebra 2 and Statistics, a graphing calculator is required.

The Mathematics Department recommends the Texas Instruments TI-83+, TI-84 or TI 84+.

It is not advised to purchase any other style or type of calculator, as they do not correspond to the curriculum that WHS uses.

Students taking any of the following courses: Principles of Physics (POP), Principles of Engineering (POE), Physics, and AP Biology:

You are required to have a standard size graph-ruled paper composition book on the first day of class.

A college ruled composition book would also work however graphing ruled is best.

For POP and POE you will use the same book.

If you do not have a notebook, there are a limited number available for purchase from your science teacher.
