Laketown Blocks
Welcome to Laketown Elementary

Laketown Elementary is home to approximately 540 kindergarten through fifth-grade students. We have a beautiful setting, surrounded by natural habitat and woods, perfect for outdoor learning and exploration.

Laketown Elementary is a community of learners where every child matters and every moment counts. We show Laketown PRIDE by being Peaceful, Respectful, Inclusive, Determined, and Engaged.

The Laketown Community utilizes Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). This proactive approach helps create the school culture needed for all students to achieve social, emotional, and academic success. Rather than using a fragmented approach of individual behavioral management plans, PBIS is implemented in classroom and non-classroom settings (e.g., hallways, buses, playground and restrooms). Staff dedicate time throughout the year to teach Behavioral expectations, and students are recognized for following them, instead of solely being corrected only when misbehavior occurs. PBIS is making a positive impact on every aspect of life at Laketown Elementary!

We invite families to visit our school to see the amazing learning opportunities we have to offer.

Sincerely,
