Registration
Waconia Family Preschool Registration Open House will take place on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Waconia Enrichment Center (520 Industrial Blvd). New families may register at Open House. Registration for current preschool families begins Monday, January 8. A $40 nonrefundable fee is due at the time of registration. Pathway I & II – State Early Learning Scholarships may be available for income-eligible families. Call for more information about the scholarships. Mail or drop off registrations at:

Session 1
Children must be 3 years by Sept. 1, 2018
Tuesday and Thursday
8:30–11:00 a.m.
Parents and children attend together on Tuesdays. Child care is provided for siblings on this day. Thursdays are child-only days. Before and after school child care is available through Kids’ Company. Koch bus transportation is provided for qualifying families or for an additional charge.
Parent involvement includes:
• On Tuesdays a parent or a school support staff participates in the parent/child activity time. Parents meet to discuss topics based on group interest and MN state guidelines.
• Attending an Open House in the fall
• Two parent–teacher conferences yearly
• Volunteering to chaperone field trips

Parents and children attend together on the first Friday of each month. Child care is provided for siblings on this day. The remaining Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are child-only days. Before and after school child care is available through Kids’ Company on child-only days. Koch bus transportation is provided for qualifying families or for an additional charge.

• Children will learn school readiness skills to help prepare them for kindergarten, including reading, math, science, and social skills.
• Additional help is provided for English language learners.
• Nutritious snacks and supplies are included.
• Koch bus transportation is provided for qualifying families or for an additional charge.
Parent involvement includes:
• Home visits with a licensed parent educator to discuss the child’s progress and offer family resources and support.
• Five evening events throughout the school year.
