The Waconia Community Education Rainbow Preschool program offers a variety of classes to fit your child’s academic and social growth. Rainbow Preschool is an inclusion program open to all 3-, 4-, and 5- year-old boys and girls. We have specifically designed classroom sessions to meet children at each age.
Session 1, 2, & 3
Waconia Enrichment Center

8:30–10:45 a.m. (Session 1 & 2)
11:45 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Session 3)
Fee: $115 per month
We have created a classroom environment to meet students who are 3- and early 4-year-olds, both academically and socially. We strive to assist your child in making choices that will create an environment that is conducive to learning while paving a road for academic growth. We will emphasize activities in all areas of enrichment in order to instill a love for lifelong learning.
Session 4, 5, & 6

Fee: $150 per month
This classroom was created for children who are late 4- and early 5-year-olds. Our goal is to assist the students in their academic growth while keeping the class balanced with social opportunity. In this class we will concentrate on building your child’s self-confidence in a learning environment.

Fee: $215 per month
Let’s prepare your child for their kindergarten experience. For this class we look forward to working with children that will start kindergarten in the following fall. The curriculum is designed to assist the child in mastering the academics they will need at the start of kindergarten. We will also introduce ideas and concepts they will be working with once they enter kindergarten. Children in this class should be able to handle social aspects of a classroom in order to be able to concentrate more on the academic activities that will be offered.
